It’s the Patriots vs. Eagles in Super Bowl LII! Kick-off is at 6:30’ish PM Eastern time, and with a 30 plus minute half-time show, you’re easily looking at 9:30 PM for the game to wrap-up. Add pre-game hype and commercials to the front-end (starting lunchtime), and you’re talking 8 to 9 hours of “relaxation” time. Beer choice, pacing, and pairing is paramount, so here is the New England beer line-up to get you through the big event and safely to the other side! Assist on the line-up from Stowe Public House.

Halftime – Prima Pils (5.3% ABV) from Victory Brewing Company in Downingtown, Pennsylvania and with locations around Philadelphia. Based on the typical Patriots’ slow start, it’s likely that the Eagles will be leading at half-time, and their fans will be breaking out their local beers for a victory celebration. Nothing says “we’re winning! (at half-time) than a Prima Pils. Made with Hallertau, Tettnang, Saaz, and Spalt Select hops, Prima is a crisp rendition of this German lager. My great-grandfather would be proud!
