Our take: This place lays claim to being the first (thus oldest) brewery in Vermont where you can actually consume onsite what is brewed onsite. In other words, in 1988, through its efforts to get Vermont’s laws updated, VP&B ignited the whole brewpub/taproom movement that we love and take for granted today.
