Our take: The mecca for Vermont beer, The Alchemist is the maker of the famous Heady Topper DIPA and Focal Banger IPA beers. The Alchemist in Stowe is considered the “visitor center” (their original location is in Waterbury), but wait in line and stop in for a sample and a case of whatever is still available.
